Aimpro Samudra, a native of Tampin, shared the remarkable tale of his extensive travels across Asia and Europe with his son using their trusty 2004 limited edition Perodua Kelisa, affectionately named 'Wheely.'

Documenting their adventures on the Family Camping Malaysia Facebook page, Samudra emphasised the simplicity of their journey, where they set up camp wherever their feet touched the ground.

Funding their expedition through earnings from renovation, electrical, and construction work, Samudra and his son embarked on their voyage in November 2019.

From Malaysia, they traversed countries such as Thailand, Myanmar, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, and many more. Forced to pause their journey due to the COVID-19 lockdown, they resumed their travels on September 15, 2022, flying back to Turkey to retrieve 'Wheely.'

Encountering challenges like gearbox issues, the father-son duo overcame obstacles with the help of acquaintances and mechanics from Malaysia, fixing the car through video calls and local assistance in Turkey. Their route led them through Iran, where disruptions in telephone and internet connectivity occurred due to protests. Escorted by police and army personnel in Pakistan, they continued their journey until being halted by adverse weather conditions at the border of China.

Despite these challenges, Samudra remains passionate about the freedom and unique experiences gained during their unconventional journey. He encourages others not to give up on their dreams, emphasizing that even individuals from small towns like Tampin can explore the world. Samudra's goal is to bring 'Wheely' back to Malaysia, proving that there are no limits to what one can achieve, mirroring the journey of this humble Perodua Kelisa across Europe and Asia.

Dang....It's been years since they attempt this mind-blowing mission yet stil stays fresh in our mind....
