1) Paal Kavadi
The kavadi is decorated with peacocok feathers and a picture of Lord Murugan. Then, pots filled with milk are placed with the kavadi and carried over the shoulder for Lord Murugan.
2) Alangara Kavadi
The Kavadi is decorated beautifully with a picture of Lord Murugan, religious symbols, bells and peacock feathers.
3) Pushpa Kavadi
This Kavadi is a treat for the eyes as it is decorated with colorful flowers. The flowers are arranged in a way to look like Lord Murugan or other religious symbols.
4) Karumbu Toddi
Parents carry their child in a bundle held by a pole of sugar cane as a gratitude of being blessed with a child.
