With the ever-talented host, Vikadakavi Magen, electrifying guests, and high-voltage controversies, the brand new talk show - ‘Panas Talk with Vikadakavi’ has already blazed the screens on Astro Vinmeen (CH 202) at 10 PM, and also Astro GO and On Demand.\

Being a host for this exhilarating talk show, Vikadakavi has a lot to share with his fans about his experience of hosting this mega-anticipated show.

Speaking about sharing a brief background about himself….

Born and bred from Johor, he was a former mechanical engineer. Being in this industry for the past 22 years, he began his career as a lyricist in 2001 and then entered mainstream media (TV) in 2004.

‘Aattam 100 Vagai’ was my debut TV show as a host on Astro. I penetrated the music industry as a rapper, then acted in movies, and now evolving as a film director and producer. Hosting ‘Aattam 100 Vagai’ for the first time was very challenging for me as my dialogues were reduced from sixteen to eight as I was unable to deliver them, and even then, it was difficult for me. ‘Aattam 100 Vagai’, my debut TV show was directed by Mr. Annadurai and he’s the Executive Producer for Panas Talk with Vikadakavi. This would be very close to my heart, and I will cherish it forever.

What was your experience like hosting Panas Talk with Vikadakavi?

Dreams do come true! After two long years of brainstorming and meetings with Astro representatives, I am finally up for this unique talk show, ‘Panas Talk with Vikadakavi’. This unique show is a product of my hard work and perseverance, and I have truly enjoyed the journey of making my dream come true.

Hosting this show was quite tricky as most of the guests were my friends and people I knew. At the same time, I believed that this would be a great platform for some to explain themselves to fans about their past and current issues that made waves on social media.

What are some of your hopes for this show?

I hope this program will be successful as it offers the opportunity to local artists as well as social media influencers to be interviewed and share their thoughts about certain matters that made waves among their fans. I would say this show could be an icebreaker to produce more unique shows.
