In conjunction with its 20th anniversary, the iconic 140-foot Lord Murugan statue at Batu Caves is undergoing a grand restoration and repainting, marking a significant milestone in its history.

The celebrations will commence on 1 January at 7.00am with a homam, followed by special abhishegam. A special devotional programme is scheduled for 4.00pm, featuring soulful musical performances by artistes from Malaysia and India. The day-long celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display in the evening.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, Vinmeen will be bringing the unveiling ceremony LIVE at 8.30am on Astro Ulagam’s YouTube channel and TikTok. Devotees and viewers are invited to tune in and witness this historic moment live.
