Police have arrested five suspects, aged between 18 and 60, to assist in the investigation of an assault case involving a disabled man (OKU). The incident occurred after the victim’s motorcycle accidentally caused several items at a food stall to topple.

A video of the altercation, which went viral on social media, captured the victim being dragged, kicked, and humiliated by a group of individuals. In the footage, a man off-camera is seen kicking the victim in the face, while bystanders watched without intervening.

The heartbreaking reality of apathy , and the best part no one help the assault victim.

In response to the viral video, a spokesperson expressed heartbreak over the lack of humanity displayed.

"The footage is distressing because the victim was alone, clearly apologetic, and yet subjected to such cruel treatment. What’s even more disheartening is that those present chose to watch rather than help," the spokesperson stated.

The victim’s wife, Faridah Abdul Karim, described her anguish upon seeing the video. According to Faridah, her husband, Ahmad Nor Al Faizan Jusoh, had repeatedly apologized for the accident but was instead dragged, beaten, and had fried noodles poured over his head.

"When he asked for water to wash his eyes, one of the individuals kicked him in the head," said Faridah, a mother of five. She condemned the perpetrators' actions as inhumane and called for compassion and dialogue in handling such situations.

"If he was truly at fault, they should have resolved it amicably. They could have approached me, and I would have been willing to compensate for any losses," she added.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice for the victim, highlighting the importance of empathy and humanity in addressing disputes. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
