The family of Thineas Gunasaharan, who has been left in a coma following an accident in November last year, is seeking help to raise funds for his mounting medical needs.

According to a Facebook post by netizen Komala Rathakrishnan, Thineas met with an accident in Bandar Botanic Klang, in the wee hours of Nov 28 last year, and has been bedridden with skull and bodily fractures at the Klang general hospital since then.

Thineas, who lost both his parents in childhood, is unable to move or speak, and is being supported by his sister Saraswathy, who had to resign from her job to take care of him.

"They (Thineas' family) are in need of money now to buy milk powder as he can only drink milk at the moment, and each can (of milk) costs about RM158, and with the current situation, his sister cannot afford it.

"They are also in need of money to buy items to dress his wounds," she wrote in the post, which has garnered more than 151 shares so far.

Those who wish to know more updates on the case and help the cause, can contact Saraswathy at 011-28229404.
