The police have released a Nur Alert for a child who has been reported missing the last three days.

In a notice put up on its official Facebook page, the Royal Malaysian Police said the 10-year-old, only identified as Kelvin, was last seen in front of the Kim Loo Ting Social and Welfare Association home at Kampung Baru Salak Selatan in Cheras, on March 21.

"The child, who is about 150cm tall and weighs 35kg, was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt and black shorts.

"He sports a close crop haircut and is of Indian descent," read the missing notice, which has been shared more than 2,700 times since it was posted yesterday.

Those who have spotted the missing child, or have any information about him, are urged to call the case's Investigating Officer, Sarjan Mohd Ridzuan Yamin at 018-3505950, or contact the Cheras district police headquarters at 03-91452222.

The National Urgent Response (NUR) Alert system is a national initiative that helps spread information related to missing children under the age of 12, as quickly as possible.
