Two policemen were detained last Saturday for attending a wild drug-filled party at a luxury condominium in Kuala Lumpur.

Bernama reported that the duo - a lance corporal and an extra police constable, also tested positive for ketamine, when they were rounded up with 12 others, including seven women, at the condominium in Changkat Raja Chulan, during the 9.30pm operation.

All those arrested were aged between 20 and 40.

According to Kuala Lumpur Narcotics CID chief Sahar Abd Latif, the raiding team also seized 5.56gm of ketamine worth RM834 from the location.

The police said that the organiser of the party is a 39-year-old man who rented the luxury condominium for RM220 a day, and invited the visitors to the party via phone call.

Besides being compounded RM4,000 each violating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the National Recovery Plan, the suspects are also being probed for possession of drugs.

Of late, it has become a common occurrence for law enforcers to break the law.

Earlier this month, 13 police personnel were rounded up after they partied at an entertainment centre in Puchong Jaya until the wee hours of a Saturday morning. Also nabbed during the same raid were two firemen and an army commando.

In July, the Bangi police station chief and three corporals were arrested after holding a party at a police station in Kajang, while getting high on ganja, ketum water, and alcohol. Also involved in the party were four civilian women, pornography, song and dance.
