In a remarkable triumph, national squash sensation S. Sivasangari clinched the Hong Kong Football Club Open title, marking her second championship win this year. The world-renowned player, currently ranked 22nd globally, showcased her prowess by defeating Egypt's Amina Orfi, the junior world champion of 2022 and 2023, in a swift encounter that lasted just 34 minutes. Sivasangari dominated the women's final with a commanding score line of 11-9, 11-8, 11-5.

This victory adds to Sivasangari's stellar year, following her earlier success at the Tunku Mukhriz Cup championship in August. Her consistently outstanding performances underscore her status as a formidable force in the world of squash.

In a parallel storyline, fellow national player Ng Eain Yow faced a formidable challenge in the men's final, ultimately succumbing to Egypt's Aly Abou Eleinen. Despite the outcome, both players continue to raise the bar for Malaysian squash on the international stage.

Sivasangari's latest conquest reinforces her standing as a squash queen and a source of pride for the nation. Thank you for always putting Malaysia on world map.
