In addition, Maryam Muzamir, a SK (P) Methodist in Kuantan, Pahang, also earned a mention in the "The Late Late Show with James Corden" who praised her for her invention called "Yam 2.0", which is livestock feed made out of ground shrimp and sea snail shells.

"You might have heard about this girl...it's absolutely incredible...Maryam Muzamir who is a 11-year-old schoolgirl in Malaysia. She found a common food waste...seafood shells and she makes them into a new sustainable livestock feed. She's 11-years-old! Yeah, in Malaysia. She's already won three international awards for her breakthrough idea," the highly popular host reportedly said in a recent episode of his show.

According to the report, Maryam got the idea for YAM 2.0 after spotting the amount of a shells that were being discarded at a seafood restaurant she had gone to with her family. After she came across an article that detailed the benefits of the shells for livestock, she went on to create YAM 2.0.

Maryam won the gold medal, as well as the Canadian Special Award, and the coveted Best Young Inventor Award in the recently concluded International Invention Innovation Competition (iCAN) in Toronto, Canada. She was the youngest winner in the competition. She has previously won several local awards for YAM 2.0.
