"I am ready to give my utmost cooperation to the police. Berani kerana benar," he said in another tweet.
According to the police, the questioning is set to take place at 2.30pm today.
In the Al Jazeera interview, Syed Saddiq had criticized Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin for allegedly colluding with "kleptocrats" from the BN-era government to remain in power, despite having challenged them when the premier was part of the former ruling coalition, Pakatan Harapan.
The former minister was answering a question on Muhyiddin's changing of allegiance and ascent to power.

It is worth noting that Syed Saddiq was among those sacked from Bersatu (he was the youth chief), along with the likes of its former chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad, ex-deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir, as well as Maszlee Malik.
Syed Saddiq is the second MP aligned to PH that have been recently hauled up by the cops.
Former deputy women, family and community development minister Hannah Yeoh was previously called up for questioning over a tweet in March, which had questioned the future of the five-year National Strategy Plan to end child marriage, under the current government.
The Segambut MP is scheduled to meet the cops in Bukit Aman next Tuesday.
