Pratik Vitthal Mohite may be short in stature, but what he lacks in centimetres, he makes up with confidence and willpower.
The 25-year-old was recently recognized by the Guiness World Records (GWR) as the shortest competitive bobybuilder (male). He stands a mere 102 centimetres (3 feet 4 inches) tall.
According to Pratik, he faced a lot of hurdles when he started his bodybuilding career in 2012, beginning with problems gripping the gym equipment during workout.
"But my determination and hard work has helpmed me prove people wrong.
"It was my dream to achieve a Guiness World Records title and it's such an honour to achieve it," he reportedly said.
Pratik applied for the GWR record after a friend convinced him to, and now, he is elated with the recognition, calling it the biggest achievement of his career. He also believes that anyone can achieve anything, as long as they put their mind to it.
He aspires to open his own gym in the future, to train like-minded future athletes.
Kudos on the impressive achievement Pratik. He is truly a prove that one's physical condition is no barrier to achieving greatness.
