Are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and planning to travel interstate or overseas soon?

You can download and print your vaccination certificate from MySejahtera, announced Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced recently.

However, the feature is currently only available for iPhone users, while users of Android and Huawei phones have to wait a while longer for the update to roll out.

According to reports, the certificate is available for download in PDF format and printed to easier use during travels.

This would save the hassle of opening the MySejahtera app on your phone and flashing your digital vaccination certificates, in case you are subjected to random checks by enforcement personnel or officers while travelling.

Bukit Aman has warned individuals who are not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated, who try to travel interstate will no longer be issued warnings, and will be issued compounds on the spot.

To this effect, the police will start monitoring public places such as R&R areas at highways and shopping malls to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures, and to make sure that the unvaccinated do not take advantage of the border reopening to "balik kampung."

Putrajaya recently announced the reopening of state borders after the country reached its 90 per cent adult vaccination target.

However, only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to travel interstate and overseas, the Health Ministry has stressed.

Although the roadblocks at state borders have been lifted, the police have warned of surprise checks at public places to sniff out unvaccinated individuals who may try to take advantage of the situation.
