The one-of-a-kind singing competition scouted its talents from the digital realm (aka social media) and gave them a platform! The screen singers polished their skills on this stage and wowed the judges (and the audience) with their singing and overall performance with each passing week.
Five finalists have emerged from a pool of 11 talents who began their journey on Big Stage Tamil. Here are some interesting facts about the Big Stage Finalists!
Arulini Arumugam
Arulini is the youngest finalist! The 20-year-old was autistic as a child and only started to talk at 7. Singing seems to have helped her in more than one way. She's also a Minnal Star Finalist but has been singing on stage much before.Harieharan Gangkathran
Big Stage Tamil is not Harieharan's first stage. He has competed in MYCOM Isai Yuttham Singing Competition held in Melaka (2016) and SoupFm 2.0 Next Vocal Star hosted in Kajang(2018) before making his way to Big Stage Tamil. Judges have frequently considered his voice unique, and the singer dramatically improved his game after listening to judges' remarks!Roshini Balachandran
Roshini is no stranger to singing on stage as well. The bold vocalist, who claims to have been singing for 20 years, has participated in various competitions before her Big Stage fame. Roshini was an Avatharam Arambam 2009 finalist, Shakti Global Super Star Semi-Finalist (2015), and the first runner-up of Bintang AIMinnal (2016). The 25-year-old is a vocal teacher/trainer who possesses a Bachelor's in Music Education.Sasitharan Rajendran
Sasitharan usually identifies himself as a melody or folk singer. He loved volunteering to sing anytime his teacher encouraged the students during his school days. His biggest asset, he says, is his ability to entertain people. Unknown to many, Sasitharan could also perform mimicry!Thanushan Jayakumar
Thanushan is a man of many passions. From filmmaking, singing, and dancing to graphic designing, Thanushan is constantly evolving creatively. The 24-year-old first discovered his talent after performing on stage at 11. Judges have repeatedly applauded his vocal tone and performance skills.Big Stage Tamil's top five contestants will be battling out this weekend to become the title winner.
