Award-winning director AL Vijay is well-known for his films like Kireedam, Thalaivaa, Deiva Thirumagal, and Madrasapattinam.
He met and fell in love with actress Amala Paul in the sets of Deiva Thirumagal. They got married in 2014, and Amala's insistence on pursuing her acting career caused a rift between them. Eventually, they got divorced in 2016 and maintained a dignified silence on both sides.
In 2019, the director had an arranged marriage in a close ceremony to Dr. Aishwarya. Last year, they were blessed with a baby boy.
