Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ and Kamal Hassan’s ‘Indian 2’ - the release of these two highly anticipated films has left the internet in a tizzy.

Though there is no official announcement on the release date of both movies, several reports have stated that they will hit the theatres on November 10, 2023.

And if the rumours are accurate, then we need to brace ourselves to witness the epic clash of 'Jailer' and 'Indian 2' at the box office for the first time after 18 years.

So when was the last clash heppened?

Well, the last clash happened in 2005, when Rajini’s Chandramukhi and Kamal’s Mumbai Express were released for that year’s Pongal.

Touted to be an action comedy genre, Jailer is helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and currently, the shooting is going on in full swing at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Apart from Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Shiva Rajkumar, Thamannah Bhatia, and Yogi Babu will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.

Meanwhile, Indian 2 - the sequel to Kamal Haasan’s hit 1996 film Indian touted to be a political action thriller. Directed by S Shankar, the film will have Kamal Haasan as an elderly vigilante who will reprise his role as Senapathy. The much-delayed sequel will have its release after 27 years. Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, and Bobby Simha are among the cast who will play the lead roles in Indian 2.
