Samantha and Naga Chaitanya shook the cine world and their fans when they announced the mutual separation on the social media handles. Rumors about their divorce were ripe ever since Samantha removed Naga Chaitanya's surname 'Akkineni' from her social media accounts.

Following the shocking announcement, many speculations started making rounds. Deeply hurt by the news surrounding her separation, Samantha vowed in a recent post that she won't make anything break her spirit.

Samantha's Shaakuntalam producer Neelima Guna came in support of the actress by revealing that she did plan to start a family with her husband Naga Chaitanya this year.

"Last year itself, when my father director Gunasekhar garu and I approached Samantha for Shaakuntalam, she loved the story and was very excited by it. But she told us that if she were to accept the role, the shooting should be completed by maximum July/August this year," he told the Hyderabad Times.

"She informed me that she was planning to start a family and that she wants to become a mother, and it would be her priority," he added.

Neelima Guna also claimed that Samantha told him that this (Shaakuntalam) would be her last film, and she wanted to take a long break and have children after the film.

Samantha said in a previous interview that when she has a child, the child would be her universe. We wish the actress the very best in all her endeavors and hope she sails through this tough period with the strength we've seen in many of the roles she essayed in her films.
