Actress Samantha turned 35 on April 28th this year and had remained low-key throughout the day.
Her much-awaited film 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kathal,' directed by Vignesh Shivan and starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, had a tremendous theatrical release on the same day, bringing her double the joy.
On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda, her co-star in VD11 (the official title has yet to be revealed), played a prank on the actress when they were filming in Kashmir.
Vijay devised a fake scene with an emotional interaction with the assistance of his team. Samantha teared up while delivering a dialogue, and Vijay surprised her by saying, 'Samantha, Happy Birthday!'
