A recent video of a dog being run over by a courier van has ignited widespread outrage online. The footage has raised concerns over the driver's actions, leading the courier company, GD Express (GDEX), to issue a formal apology and confirm disciplinary action against the driver involved.

The brief 12-second video, shared by a concerned netizen, captures a distressing moment in a residential area. It shows a dog resting calmly in the middle of the road near a speed bump. Moments later, a white GDEX-branded van enters the frame, proceeding over the speed bump without reducing speed and striking the dog. Startled and in apparent pain, the dog manages to move to the roadside but collapses, visibly distressed.

The clip quickly drew strong reactions from viewers, many of whom demanded accountability from GDEX and the driver. In response, GDEX took to its official Facebook page on November 12 to address the situation. The company expressed regret over the incident and announced that the driver has been suspended, pending further disciplinary measures.

Despite GDEX’s apology and response, many social media users remain unconvinced, questioning whether the incident was a mere accident or a matter of negligence. The incident has sparked broader discussions on road safety and animal welfare in residential areas.
