The highly anticipated 10th edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list has been unveiled, celebrating 300 of the region’s most promising young leaders across 10 dynamic categories, including the newly added Artificial Intelligence segment. Among this year’s visionaries, Malaysia proudly celebrates two homegrown changemakers: Eswaran Mohan and Renuga Nair, co-founders of Exar Technologies, who have been recognised under the Social Media, Marketing & Advertising category. At just 29, both Eswaran and Renuga have built an inspiring legacy.

The duo launched Exar Technologies during their final year at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2018. What began as a student-led idea has since evolved into a regional pioneer in augmented reality (AR), AI, and immersive digital solutions, serving over 50 multinational clients including Nestlé, Fujitsu, Honda, and FoodPanda. Their trailblazing work in AR and immersive tech earned them a groundbreaking distinction, becoming the first company in Asia selected by Snapchat as an official lens partner.

Through their passion, innovation, and dedication, Eswaran and Renuga have not only redefined brand engagement in the digital space but also placed Malaysia on the global innovation map.

Congratulations, Eswaran and Renuga. Your journey is a beacon of inspiration for young Malaysians, and your recognition in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list is a proud moment for the nation. We celebrate your achievements and look forward to the waves you’ll continue to make in the tech world and beyond.
