Four 17-year-old teen boys, all SPM candidates, were remanded for six days to assist investigations under Section 375B of the Penal Code.
Melaka police chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the remand order was issued by the Melaka Magistrate’s Court and runs until October 16.
The incident reportedly took place on October 2 when the victim returned to her classroom to collect her Science project materials. The matter came to light after a teacher informed her mother about a circulated video, prompting a police report.
The case has sparked nationwide concern, with Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek urging immediate action to stop the spread of the video and protect the minors involved.
