Air Suvidha 2.0 : Malaysians Must Complete This Mandatory Form

Air Suvidha 2.0 Health Self-Declaration Form

Planning a trip to India? Whether you're travelling for a holiday, business, or to visit family, there's one important requirement you shouldn't overlook.

The Indian government now requires all international passengers arriving in the country to complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 Health Self-Declaration Form before arrival. The upgraded digital system was introduced by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) to strengthen public health surveillance following concerns over the ongoing Ebola outbreak.

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free immigration process, travellers are encouraged to submit the form up to 24 hours before their flight to India.

What you'll need before filling out the form:

  • Passport
  • Flight details
  • Address in India (or overseas address if applicable)
  • Valid email address
  • Mobile phone number

How to complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 form?

Step 1: Enter your personal and travel details

Provide your passport information, nationality, flight details, first airport of arrival in India, and your travel history for the past 21 days. You'll also need to declare if you have visited any Ebola-affected countries during that period.

Step 2: Verify your contact details

Enter your address, email address, and mobile number. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to verify your contact information.

Step 3: Complete the health declaration

If you've travelled to or been exposed to Ebola-affected countries, you'll be required to answer additional health-related questions and declare any symptoms honestly.

Step 4: Review and submit

Carefully review all the information provided before submitting the form. You'll also need to agree to the declaration allowing authorities to process your travel and health information.

After submission

Once your form has been successfully submitted, you'll receive a registration number and an acknowledgement via email.

Be sure to save or print the acknowledgement, as it may be requested by airport health officials upon your arrival in India. Depending on your declaration, additional health screening may be conducted by the Airport Port Health Officer (APHO).

Things to remember

  • Complete the Air Suvidha 2.0 form before arriving in India.
  • Ensure all information matches your passport and travel documents.
  • Keep a digital or printed copy of your acknowledgement.
  • Be prepared for additional health screening if required by authorities.

If you're travelling from Malaysia to India in the coming weeks, completing the Air Suvidha 2.0 declaration in advance can help make your arrival smoother and avoid unnecessary delays at the airport.
