A female teacher in her 30s was found dead after an incident at a school in Hulu Selangor on Thursday morning.
Hulu Selangor District Police Chief Superintendent Manimaran Munjandi said police received a MERS 999 emergency call regarding the incident at approximately 7.15 AM.
The victim was found in the teachers' room on the first floor of the school before being rushed to Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital for treatment. However, she was pronounced dead while receiving treatment in the hospital's Emergency Department.
Police arrived at the scene at about 8.30 AM and launched an investigation into the incident. An autopsy was later carried out at the Forensic Department of Sungai Buloh Hospital at around 5.30 PM on the same day to determine the cause of death.
Police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward by contacting the nearest police station or the Hulu Selangor District Police Headquarters. Investigations are ongoing.
