Skim Mesra : Here’s How Seniors and OKU Can Apply For Selangor’s Scheme

Selangor is opening 50,000 new registration slots under Skim Mesra, giving eligible senior citizens and persons with disabilities (OKU) access to an annual RM150 incentive.

Applications will open from 17 September at 8am, with registrations available online through the official Skim Mesra portal. As the number of new registrations is limited, eligible applicants are encouraged to apply early.

Who is eligible to apply?

The scheme is open to two main categories: SENIOR CITIZENS and OKU.

For senior citizens, applicants must:

• Be 60 years old and above
• Be a Malaysian citizen
• Be a registered voter and reside in Selangor
• Be alive at the time of application

For OKU applicants aged 18 and below:

• The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen
• The parent or guardian must be a registered voter and reside in Selangor
• The applicant must be alive

For OKU applicants aged 18 and above:

• The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen
• The applicant must be a registered voter and reside in Selangor
• The applicant must be alive

How much can eligible applicants receive?

Eligible recipients under the senior citizen and OKU categories will receive an annual RM150 incentive.

The initiative is intended to extend welfare support to eligible residents while recognising the needs of senior citizens and the OKU community in Selangor.

Applications can be submitted online from 17 September 2026, starting at 8am, through the official Skim Mesra portal.
