At just four years old, Veekhash Logendran has already carved his name in the world of talent, becoming a beacon of inspiration for young achievers everywhere. Known for his remarkable abilities since the tender age of three, Veekhash has consistently amazed us with his talents and perseverance. His latest achievement?


Competing in the prestigious Asia Talent Search 2024 as the youngest participant ; and emerging as a finalist.

Veekhash’s journey in the Asia Talent Search was nothing short of extraordinary. From auditions to the elimination rounds and finally the grand finale, his performances were a captivating blend of knowledge-sharing and storytelling.

Round 1 : Veekhash wowed the judges with his ability to identify 250 car logos along with their country names, showcasing his photographic memory and impressive attention to detail.

Round 2 : He delivered a creative presentation on the periodic table, effortlessly blending education with entertainment.

Grand Finale : Performing as the *“Little Curious Explorer,” Veekhash shared fascinating stories about Malaysia’s culture and heritage, highlighting Penang’s vibrant traditions, Malacca’s historical significance, Sarawak’s rich heritage, and Kuala Lumpur’s bustling charm. His pride in Malaysia’s diversity shone through, leaving audiences in awe.

Veekhash’s journey was supported by a village of mentors, teachers, and his parents. His mother, Rubini Ramasamy, shared insights into the dedication required to prepare him for the competition.

“When Veekhash was selected for Round 1, we sought guidance from Speech and Drama teacher Rathippriyah Balsan of Balsans Creative Kidz in Kemuning Utama. Her creative ideas and training were instrumental throughout the competition,” Rubini explained.

Balancing work and travel for his twice-weekly training sessions wasn’t easy. Yet, his parents’ sacrifices paid off, as Veekhash’s confidence and progress on stage were rewards worth every effort. At home, Rubini supported him by rehearsing dialogues and ensuring he enjoyed the process without feeling pressured.





This isn’t the first time Veekhash has made headlines. Earlier, he set records in the Malaysia Book of Records and the Worldwide Book of Records in 2023 when he was just 3-years-old. Isn't that mind-blowing?

Despite his young age, Veekhash never felt nervous during the competition. His parents, on the other hand, admit to feeling the jitters. "That’s normal for parents,” Rubini shared, adding that the focus was always on creating a healthy and enjoyable experience for their son.

Rubini emphasized the importance of balancing early competitions with a child’s overall well-being. “For us, it’s not about winning; it’s about the experience. We want him to gain stage confidence, embrace healthy competition, and still have plenty of time to enjoy his childhood. Seeing him grow and perform with enthusiasm is what truly matters,” she said.

Veekhash’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of teachers and friends. His family extended special thanks to Teacher Rathippriyah Balsan, Teacher Durgashini, and others who played pivotal roles in his journey.
