An Evening of Purpose
This year’s pageant makes history as the first-ever pageant organization to actively track and reduce its carbon footprint. Through a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Brewspark Technolog’s Blue Santa program, the initiative monitors each participant’s individual carbon footprint. Backed by partners like USM’s Centre for Marine and Coastal Studies (CEMACS) and the Consulate General of Japan, this innovative commitment takes a massive leap forward in reducing Malaysia’s carbon emissions through direct sustainability action.

The grand final event also witnessed the presentation of 18 Small Subsistence Grants to tertiary students from MMICARE’s longstanding Meal and Tuition programme in Kapar, Selangor. Since 2022, MMICARE has led 37 at-risk b40 chidren to complete their SPM and further their education via its Gift Her With Life Fund. All funds raised from the grand final directly support MMICARE’s community initiatives which includes personal empowerment outreach workshops across Malaysian public universities. Since inception, the workshops have reached more than 20,000 female students.
