Stupidity is not a handicap.

Someone ought to tell this to two men and two women who are currently being sought by the police for mocking persons with disabilities (PWD) on two separate viral videos.

Sentul police chief ACP Beh Eng Lai said this is after a police report was lodged against the four suspects, who are also said to have abused PWD facilities.

The first video shows two men acting like they were disabled, to secure a parking lot reserved for PWDs, at a shopping mall in the city, while the second video shows two female cyclists pretending to be disabled to use PWD toilets at a petrol station.

Not only the four uncouth suspects have the nerve to mock disabled persons, but they also had the audacity to shoot videos of the despicable act and upload it on social media.

Not surprisingly, the two videos have gone viral on social media since yesterday, leading to the police report, and subsequent probe.

According to ACP Beh, the person who lodged a police report against the two videos had allegedly that the suspects had clearly insulted the disabled community in the country, and used them as material to attract viewers on social media.

Investigations are being carried out under Section 504 of the Penal Code for intentional insult, and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for misusing social media facilities.

It is worth noting that OKU Sentral president, Senator Ras Adiba Radzi had also lodged a police report against the individuals in the video.
