Actress and model Sanam Shetty made her acting debut in the 2012 film 'Ambuli'. Despite acting in many films, she didn't attain much fame in the Tamil cinema.

In 2020, the actress participated in Bigg Boss Tamil S4 hosted by Kamal Haasan. While at first she was trolled and received hate from the viewers, eventually the actress captured their hearts with her resilience.

After 'Bigg Boss 4', Sanam was seen joining the other Bigg Boss celebrities in events and doing photoshoots for her social media.

Recently, the actress claimed that she was harassed by an unknown individual on WhatsApp and Instagram. The mystery person had been sending dirty and abusive messages to Sanam.

Sanam brought the issue to the police station and lodged a complaint with the required evidence.

Following her complaint, the police captured a 21-year-old college student from Trichy named Roy John Paul. Roy has been sent to the Cyber Crime Department in Chennai for investigation.
